Lincoln Navigator Transmission help please!?
The transmission takes too much from first to second gear only in my 1998 Navigator, I checked the oil and looks very clean (red), if the level is very good too, begin to occur a week ago of a sudden, what could be the reason why?
This could be many things including their transmission power control is empty and water. The first question is when the last time transsexual services. A dirty filter "could" cause this so if you do not had a service in the last 25,000 miles or more, you might get a chance, maybe you're lucky. If this is not the case, get a tranny shop well and have to diagnose the problem. I could not be something cheap, like an empty module or electronic actuator. Do you have a light engine check? If your car's computer tells the tranny to be able to scan and give you a clear idea of what happens inside. Best of luck.
